The composition comprises twelve parts, including an opening chorus, arias, duets, and choruses. Vivaldi adeptly employs contrasting elements in tempo, dynamics, and melody to emphasize the emotional depth of the text. The music is characterized by its vibrant energy, virtuosic melodies, and dramatic expressiveness.
